Get Rewarded For Recycling Appliances!

Let us pick up and recycle your old, working refrigerator, freezer or dehumidifier at no cost and get rewarded! An old refrigerator or freezer can be a home’s biggest energy waster, costing you more than $80 per year to run.*

How it Works

• Schedule an appliance pickup. We’ll pick up, haul away, and recycle your old, working appliance with both indoor and outdoor pickup options at no cost to you.
• Get $100 for each refrigerator or freezer picked up and recycled.
• Get $50 for each dehumidifier picked up and recycled.
• Receive an additional $50 for each room air conditioner picked up and recycled at the same time.
• Get your reward. Within four to six weeks after pickup of your appliance(s), you'll receive a check in the mail.

Eligibility Requirements

• You must be a residential Atlantic City Electric customer with a valid account number.
• Your refrigerator or freezer must be 10 to 30 cubic feet and in working order.
• You must be the owner of the appliances you want to recycle, and the appliances need to be located at your Atlantic City Electric billing address.

• Prevent releases of PCBs (toxic chemicals), mercury, and used oil into the environment
