Take control of your home comfort with a smart thermostat and make it even smarter with Energy Wise Rewards™. Smart thermostats can help you manage energy use, maintain comfort, and provide added convenience throughout the year. Plus, eligible devices can participate in Energy Wise Rewards, allowing you to earn bill credits while helping reduce demand on the power grid and supporting reliable electric service.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Purchase and install an eligible smart thermostat

First, you’ll need to purchase, install, and register an eligible smart thermostat. You may be eligible to receive a no-cost smart thermostat by participating in a Whole Home Energy Assessment or HVAC Tune-Up - alternatively, you can purchase one on the Atlantic City Electric Marketplace. Step 2: Enroll in Energy Wise Rewards

Once your smart thermostat is installed, registered, and connected to your home’s Wi-Fi, enroll in Energy Wise Rewards using the links below:

Step 3: Earn ongoing bill credits

You’ll receive a $50 enrollment bonus and up to $50 in annual bill credits per device.

How does Energy Wise Rewards work?

Atlantic City Electric will initiate conservation periods for participating central air conditioners or heat pumps on Peak Savings Days, select summer days when energy demand is high. You can expect about five Peak Savings Days between May and October each year.

During these periods, eligible smart thermostats may be briefly adjusted to help reduce strain on the electric grid. Most participants experience minimal impact to comfort and can opt out of an event at any time.
