Home Performance With ENERGY STAR® Program

Would you like to save on your energy costs and increase the comfort of your home? You can do both—and receive rebates up to $5,000*—by participating in the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program.

What to Expect

To get started making your home more energy efficient, schedule a home energy assessment with a Participating Contractor. Contractor fees may vary for this assessment. It is suggested that you contact several contractors before selecting one.

Next, a specially trained Participating Contractor will come to your home and perform a comprehensive Home Energy Assessment, which consists of the following:

  • Health and safety check (carbon monoxide levels, moisture, indoor air quality)
  • Overall comfort level (cold/hot spots, indoor air quality, stuffiness, stale odors)
  • Air leakage
  • Insulation levels
  • Heating and cooling system efficiency
  • Water heating system

After the assessment, you’ll receive a detailed report with recommended improvements to take advantage of available rebates, reduce energy usage and control costs.
