What to Expect

Schedule a virtual or in-person appointment to speak with an Energy Analyst. In about an hour, your Energy Analyst will:

  • Inspect your home’s heating and cooling systems, windows, doors, and more and look for ways to improve their efficiency
  • Educate you on how your home uses energy—and how to save
  • Provide a report listing recommended energy-saving changes
  • Install no-cost energy-saving products to immediately make your home more efficient

No-cost energy-saving products may include:

  • ENERGY STAR® certified LED bulbs
  • Water heater pipe wrap(s)
  • ShowerStart™ showerhead adapter
  • Efficient-flow showerheads
  • Faucet aerators
  • Smart power strips
  • Smart Thermostats*

The ENERGY STAR Difference*

During your no-cost Whole Home Energy Assessment, a certified Energy Analyst may install products (based upon the inspection) including an ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostat. Products that have earned the ENERGY STAR deliver exceptional features, while using less energy. Almost half of the annual energy bill for the average American household goes to heating and cooling—that's more than $900 a year. An ENERGY STAR certified smart thermostat is a Wi-Fi enabled, programmable thermostat that learns your patterns and automatically adjusts your home's temperature to improve comfort.

*Not everyone will be eligible for a smart thermostat, work with your contractor to determine your eligibility
