Enhanced Rebate for Low-to-Moderate Income Customers

Eligible customers may receive an additional $300 rebate per unit for all qualified HVAC equipment when they participate in the HVAC Efficiency Program.

You may qualify if you meet one of the following proofs of eligibility. Work with your licensed contractor to confirm prior to project completion.

• Your primary residence must be located within a low- or moderate-income census tract, and you must be willing to self-certify that you meet the income qualifications. Visit FFIEC.gov to verify the census tract where you live.
• You participate in at least one of the following "safety net" programs:
  • General Assistance (GA)
  • Lifeline
  • Lowe Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
  • New Jersey SHARES (NJ SHARES)
  • Payment Assistance for Gas and Electric (PAGE)
  • Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled (PAAD)
  • Section 8 Housing Assistance
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Temporary Assistance of Needy Families (TANF)
  • Universal Service Fund (USF)
