Program Incentives

Atlantic City Electric’s Small Business Direct Install (SBDI) Program is designed to help small businesses and organizations save more and use less. We make improving your business’s energy efficiency easy and affordable, helping you save now and for the long haul. With the SBDI Program, you can:

  • Receive financial incentives for installation of energy conservation measures
  • Reduce maintenance costs and extend equipment life
  • Reduce energy and water costs
  • Enhance visibility indoors and out
  • Improve indoor air quality
  • Create a more comfortable environment for customers and staff

The SBDI Program was created specifically for small business and local government entities in mind, to help you easily navigate available incentives and opportunities to help your business run more efficiently and save more money. One of our authorized Trade Allies will complete a no-cost, on-site energy assessment and provide customized recommendations with detailed cost estimates for ways to reduce your energy costs through energy efficiency upgrades. To ensure a positive experience, your authorized Trade Ally will install all upgrades for you, and Atlantic City Electric will contribute up to 80% of the upgrade costs for eligible customers who participate in the program. Our financial incentives cover a variety of equipment upgrades, such as:

  • Lighting retrofits, including fixtures, sensors, and controls
  • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including Programmable Thermostats and other controls
  • Commercial refrigeration equipment
  • Motors
