You may be eligible if you meet all three of the following criteria:

  • You are an Atlantic City Electric residential customer who is responsible for the bill.
  • You have an annual household income that is within the income ranges listed in the chart below. (If you do not meet this requirement, you may be interested in our Comfort PartnersQuick Home Energy Check-up, and/or Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® programs.)
  • You have permission to make energy-saving upgrades at your residence. Renters may need to have their landlords' approval to participate.

CMC Energy Services will perform all assessments for Atlantic City Electric's Home Weatherization Program. CMC employees will present their photo identification badges when they arrive at your home. If you have any concerns, please call 1-866-353-0007 to verify the identity of our energy efficiency adviser.

During in-home assessments, all basic energy-saving products such as LED bulbs will be installed by the contractor. As always, you can contact your energy adviser if you have installation questions.

Yes, you also may qualify for additional energy efficiency, health, and safety improvements valued at up to $6,000. These upgrades may include:

  • A programmable smart thermostat
  • Insulation upgrades in walls, ceilings, and attics
  • Air sealing of windows and doors
  • Ductwork sealing
  • Heating and cooling equipment tune-ups
  • And more

Your contractor will work with you to plan these upgrades, which are determined based on your home's needs. One or more of our participating contractors will contact you for scheduling.

All upgrades are provided at no cost for Atlantic City Electric customers who meet eligibility requirements.

Your home's work will be scheduled within 30 days of receiving recommendations. Our contractor will work with you to find a date and time that is convenient for you.

Atlantic City Electric energy advisers are experienced in residential energy conservation, construction, and building diagnostics—and are Building Performance Institute (BPI) certified professionals.

Our participating contractors are direct subcontractors to CMC Energy Services. All of them are licensed in the state of New Jersey and have provided references, qualifications, and evidence of insurance.
