Multi-family Program

Build Energy Efficiency into Your Multi-family Property

Learn how you can start reducing energy usage in your multifamily property and save money, while enhancing tenant comfort and increasing property value. Plus, you can earn incentives for making energy efficient improvements.

Choose Your Way

There are three ways you can improve the energy efficiency of your building and receive upgrades. During an appointment, a specially trained Energy Analyst will conduct a visual inspection of your common areas and each residential unit. The Energy Analyst will identify and show you simple ways you can improve your energy efficiency.

  • Multi-family Check-up: Provide direct install measures in unit such as ENERGY STAR certified LED bulbs, smart power strips, and water saving measures at no additional cost.
  • Multi-family Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®: Provide incentives for deeper retrofits such as insulation and air sealing measures, replacement of heating and cooling systems, and water heating systems.
  • Multi-family Commercial and Industrial: Provide energy efficient upgrades to common areas such as lighting and chillers on commercial metered properties.

Following your appointment, you will receive a detailed report on the energy efficiency equipment installed and the associated energy savings. You also will receive recommendations for improving the safety and durability of the building and its equipment.
