HVAC Tune-up

A HVAC tune-up ensures that your systems are working at optimal efficiency—helping you conserve energy and save money. 

Over time, HVAC units can go out of tune from their original factory settings. The HVAC Tune-up offering is centered around re-tuning equipment and returning it to its proper operational state. Tune-ups are applied to rooftop units, heat pumps, AC units, and packaged terminal units (PTAC and PTHP).

Maintenance services and benefits include:

  • Cleaning of system's evaporative and condensing coils
  • Air filter replacement
  • Insulation repair
  • Refrigerant change
  • Additional 5-20% savings on energy costs
  • Improved building comfort and safety
  • Increased reliability of HVAC equipment

Incentive Rates:

  • Single Compressor Units - $300/unit
  • Multiple Compressor Units - $400/unit
  • PTAC, PTHP or Mini-Split - $250/unit

Capped at 80% of the tune-up cost.

Eligibility

  • HVAC Tune-up incentives are available to all Atlantic City Electric commercial customers regardless of average peak demand.
  • Customers may work with any qualified contractor of their choice.
  • Incentives are offered for tune-up of existing HVAC units between 3 and 20 tons.
  • Applications should be submitted within 90 days of tune-up service.

How to Apply

Getting started is simple. Either contact one of our approved Trade Allies, or if you already have a contractor, you may use them for your HVAC tune-up. You or your HVAC Tune-up provider will submit the application via the online application portal.
