What To Expect

Schedule an appointment to meet with a program contractor at your home who will:

  • Inspect Your Home. A certified contractor will perform a walk-through of your home and look for ways to improve your energy efficiency.
  • Provide Professional Advice. You’ll learn how your home uses energy and get recommendations for specific energy efficiency measures and upgrades to ensure you save the most.
  • Install Energy-Saving Products.* At no cost, you’ll receive a variety of energy efficient products to help you start using less energy right away. Products may include:
    • ENERGY STAR® certified LED bulbs
    • Water heater pipe insulation
    • Efficient-flow showerheads
    • Faucet aerators
  • Schedule an Appointment for More Home Upgrades. Based on your home’s needs, you might also qualify for additional energy efficiency, health, and safety improvements, valued at up to $16,500. Those upgrades could include:
    • Installation of a programmable smart thermostat
    • Insulation upgrades in walls, ceilings, and attics
    • Air sealing of windows and doors
    • Ductwork sealing and repair
    • Heating and cooling equipment tune-ups
